PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body supporting device equipped with a bumper function in a freight vehicle capable of reducing restriction on mounting due to an installation space, easing mounting work and reducing a cost by adding a bumper function to the vehicle body supporting device. SOLUTION: The freight vehicle is equipped with the vehicle body supporting device 3 for supporting the vehicle body 1 at a rear end of a vehicle body 1. The vehicle body supporting device 3 is formed for rotation between a support position wherein a supporting member 31 for contacting the ground and supporting the vehicle body supports the vehicle body 1 and a bumper position wherein it is situated protrusively rearward of the vehicle body 1 and serves as a bumper. The supporting member 31 comprises support arms 32 with proximal ends supported rotatably on a vehicle body 1 side and a ground roller 33 provided on front ends of the support arm 32 and block members 36 are laterally extended from opposite ends of the ground roller 33 for securing a length of the bumper corresponding to a width of the vehicle.
