PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive tool magazine capable of storing many tools in a small installation space by a simple device. SOLUTION: This tool magazine is rotatable around a vertical axis and is capable of indexing a desired tool 7 at a tool replacing position. A gripper 17 for gripping the tool 7 is formed by a fixed claw member 19 having a U-shaped claw 19a giving no gripping force to the tool 7, and is mounted by being inclined so that a tool magazine outer peripheral side may be lifted in relation to a horizontal surface. A plurality of the grippers 17 are arranged at intervals for preventing the next tool from being in contact with the grippers 17 within the tool magazine. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
