PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly transfer scum from a scum pit to a scum treating facility. SOLUTION: This scum transferring apparatus for transferring scum from the scum pit which receives the scum produced in a water treatment facility to the predetermined scum treating facility is provided with: a suction pipe opened to the bottom of the scum pit; a storage tank for generating negative pressure in the suction pipe and storing the scum transferred through the suction pipe and; a discharging means for discharging the scum from the storage tank to the predetermined scum treating facility.
