PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric dust collector causing no trouble to air flow during washing, preventing attachment of mist to washing nozzles, facilitating washing of long collection electrodes, and saving washing water. SOLUTION: This electric dust collector is provided with charge electrodes 22 and dust collecting electrodes 25 collecting charged dust or mist charged by the electrodes 22, which are horizontally disposed along the air flow, and is provided with a spray washing device for spray washing dust or mist attached to the electrodes. Between the electrodes 22 and 25, a first spray washer 31 capable of spraying a washing solution to both of them is disposed movable in the vertical and horizontal directions with respect to the air flow. At the upper part of the electrode 25, a second spray washer 41 spraying the washing solution from above toward the upper collection electrodes via a plurality of nozzles is disposed.
