A search headlamp with halogen light source and power supply, includes a rectangular housing, a multiple reflector, a multilayer transparent flat front glass plate and a multilayer sealing collar. A holding or gripping device is provided and offers an adjustable fixture device with fixed- and released-positions, by means of which the holding or grip device can be brought into a locked or rotatable position. The holding or grip device can be moved between a first position and second position and by means of a fixture device, the handle can be fixed in both positions, to provide an adjustable lighting angle. The holding/gripping device allows placement on a flat surface with the possibility of long range illumination at any angle within 90 Deg. An independent claim is included for a rechargeable halogen headlamp. |
