<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for preventing the unauthorized use of a computer by a third person. <P>SOLUTION: This system consists of a first device having a specific information storage region for storing specific information, an information storage medium comprising a memory having a flag storage region, a reading means being provided in the vicinity of entrance of a computer room and reading the specific information, a storage means for storage information for collating with the specific information, a collating means for collating the specific information, and a means for writing a flag in the flag storage region of the information storage medium; of a second device having a reading means provided on the computer for reading the presence of the flag of the information storage medium, and a deleting means of the flag; and for the computer, of a flag confirming means for confirming the flag from the second device, and a means for controlling so as to allow the computer to execute a process when the flag is confirmed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
