<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer control program, a document operation terminal, a document processing system and a print data generation method, capable of shortening the print start time, while using an existing print system and general-purpose application software for document operation, without modifications. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes monitoring the operation state of application software 40 for document operation by a printer driver 100 which cooperates with the application software 40; acquiring arbitrary operation information during the document operation being performed by the application software 40; and generating print data for the document data in advance, based on the operation information.
