<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas recirculation device easy to perform high temperature control of exhaust gas in an exhaust gas recirculation passage 4 and capable of preventing sticking of a first valve element body 61 in an EGR gas cooler 14 side of an exhaust gas flow rate ratio regulation valve 18 due to deposit of sticky material. <P>SOLUTION: Only the first valve element 61 in the EGR gas cooler 14 side of a double poppet type valve 53 of the exhaust gas flow rate ratio regulation valve 18 is opened during engine stop. Consequently, sticking of the first valve element 61 in the EGR gas cooler 14 side of the exhaust gas flow rate ratio regulation valve 18 due to deposit od sticky material is prevented. A double poppet type valve 53 of the exhaust gas flow rate ratio regulation valve 18 is arranged in vicinity of a downstream side of an exhaust gas cooling device composed of the EGR gas cooler 14 and a bypass piping 15 or the like. Consequently, high temperature control of exhaust gas flowing in the exhaust gas recirculation passage toward an inside of the intake passage 3 is easy to be performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
