<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material having a constitution wherein an intermediate layer is formed of a composition containing an acrylic emulsion and a polyvinyl alcohol between a thermal coloring layer and a protecting layer formed of an ultraviolet cured type resin and enables improvement of the adhesion to the protecting layer, while protecting the thermal coloring layer from the ultraviolet cured type resin constituting the protecting layer, and also prevention of discoloration in the ground of a substrate on the basis of oxygen intercepting properties, and being excellent in the resistance to light. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal recording material has the thermal coloring layer which is formed on the substrate and contains a coloring compound and a color developing compound developing color in reaction with the coloring compound, the intermediate layer which is formed on the thermal coloring layer, and the protecting layer which is formed on the intermediate layer and constituted of the ultraviolet cured type resin, and the intermediate layer is constituted of the composition containing the acrylic emulsion and the polyvinyl alcohol. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
