<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer print data to a predetermined device by converting the data to be in a predetermined file format when printing is designated to an image recorder. <P>SOLUTION: A main control section 1 of a digital composite device 20 performs controlling such that in the case where a predetermined memory medium is connected thereto when print data is received, the received print data is converted to image data in a predetermined file format, and then the image data is transferred to the memory medium to be stored. In the case where a predetermined external device is connected thereto when print data is received, the received print data is converted to image data in a predetermined file format, and then the image data is transferred to the external device.
