<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a deuterated product of a hydrocarbon compound selected from an alkane, an alkene, an alkane having a hydroxy group or a carbonyl group, and an alkene having a hydroxy group or a carbonyl group at a high deuteration ratio in a good yield. <P>SOLUTION: The method for preparing a deuterated hydrocarbon compound comprises reacting a hydrocarbon selected from an alkane, an alkene and their derivatives with heavy water in the presence of a catalyst containing a group 8-11 metal at 160-350°C and 3-20 MPa. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
