PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize cancellation of a first identification state by an appropriate trigger, make it unnecessary to repeat identification of sign on and make it unnecessary to define a term of validity of the first identification state. SOLUTION: A service provision system is characterized in that it performs procedures including; a procedure in which a host device 12 establishes connection with a user terminal 11 and registers connection information to a user information storage 13; a procedure in which a host device 12 identifies the user terminal 11 or a user from the connection information in corporation with the user information storage 13; a procedure in which a service provision device 14 decides a service provision method or propriety of service provision based on the identification of the user or the user terminal 11; and a procedure in which the host device 12 detects disconnection when connection between the user terminal 11 and the host system 12 is lost and notifies that identification of the user ID becomes invalid to the user information storage 13.
