PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which is easy to maintain. SOLUTION: An outdoor unit 1 comprises a front panel 3 having a discharge port 2 from which an air from an air fan 1a is blown out and a service panel 5 for maintenance of an electrical block part (not shown) which is attachable/ detachable from the front face side, and the front face panel 3 is provided with an air direction changing device 4 which changes the air direction is blown out from the discharge port 2. Operation can be made only by attachment/detachment of the service panel 5 without the wind direction changing device 4 being detached at the time of maintenance of the electrical block part, so that the workability of maintenance can be improved.
