PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for manufacturing a workpiece by computer control, capable of performing a program change into a new processing process and measurement process, simpler than a conventional technique. SOLUTION: This system for manufacturing a workpiece by computer control has a measurement machine 3, a CNC processing machine, and a device for inputting the data of the workpiece for manufacturing. In the system, the data of the workpiece for manufacturing is stored in a data bank 2, and the data of the workpiece for measurement on the measurement machine 3 is read from the data bank 2 for the measurement process.
