PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a device for picking up digital photo images from enlarging and to deblur the images. SOLUTION: A process in which a correction means 10 actually subjects a blurred digital photo image D to a directional correction process in a plurality of different directions Ri to obtain a plurality of processed images Di matching the respective directions, a process in which an evaluation value calculation means 20 evaluates the degree of blurring in each processed image Di, a process in which a direction selecting means 30 selects the direction Rj matching the processed image least blurred, and a process for resetting near the direction Rj a direction Ri in which to perform the directional correction process are repeated until predetermined requirements are met.
