SOLUTION: The system for managing the product of a document (function) and a program (module) is provided with a functional information table 207, a module information table 208, a function/module relevance table 209 and an inter-module related information table 210. When the product is registered, the selection of the module necessary for the configuration of the function is guided based on the functional information table, and the selection of the module related to the module is guided based on the module related information table, and the selection of the module related to the module is guided based on the inter-module related information table, and when the range of the influence of the system change is retrieved, the function/module related table and the inter-module related information table are retrieved according to information inputted as a retrieval key.
