PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which solicits the players to pay attentions and makes them feel satisfied by carrying out a special performance using a standby image given on the image display device of the game machine with no game operation. SOLUTION: The game machine has a plurality of variable display devices for variably displaying many kinds of identifying information necessary for the games, the image display device for carrying out various performance displays during the games and a performance control means which controls various performances to be displayed on the image display device. The performance control means displays the standby image DP corresponding to the given performance EP in the image display device with no game operation when the given performance EP is carried out on the image display device during the game.
