PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner improving usability in the vacuum cleaner attachably separating a body part from a support part. SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner is provided with a body part 2 having a dust collecting part 1, a body side hose connecting part 34 formed in the body part 2 and communicated with the dust collecting part, the support part 3 having a floor brush 15 in its lower part and detachably formed with the body part 3, a support part side hose connecting part 17 formed in the support part 3 and communicating with a suction port 14 of the suction device 15 for the floor, and a hose 13 having one end connected to the body side hose connecting part 34 and the other end detachably connected to the support part side hose connecting part 17. The support part 3 is composed of a non-turning part having the floor brush 15 and non-turning, and a turning part turning with its upper end of the non-turning part as a fulcrum. The hose part 13 is retained by a retainer part 20 formed in the support part 3 in such a manner as being capable of changing the direction between the body part 2 and the support part 3.
