PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device of an internal combustion engine capable of forming approximately uniform air-fuel mixture by a compression ignition timing. SOLUTION: This fuel injection device of the internal combustion engine is formed such that a fuel heating means H is installed between a fuel pump 1 and a fuel injection valve 2 or in the fuel injection valve 2, a period for producing a negative pressure in a combustion chamber 3 is provided by controlling the opening/closing timings of an intake valve 4 or an exhaust valve 5, and heated fuel is injected into the combustion chamber 3 at a specified timing in a negative pressure generating time. By this, the mixing of the fuel with air in the combustion chamber can be promoted by forming highly dispersed, low penetration, highly atomized, and highly evaporative spray by violently generating pressure-reduced boiling.
