PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet apparatus, which has a player for which a recording medium can be replaced easily. SOLUTION: The toilet apparatus has a housing case housing a function unit, which is fitted on the upper surface of the rear of a toilet body to support a toilet seat and/or a toilet lid turnably and operates on power supplied from the outside. The housing case has the player capable of picking sound data from the recording medium inserted in the player from the outside.
