O/W-TYPE EMULSION COMPOSITION CONTAINING AMPHIPHILIC POLYMER, AND ITS USE, ESPECIALLY FOR COSMETIC USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an O/W-type emulsion containing an amphiphilic polymer as a base, advantageous from the viewpoint of cosmetic feeling, easily producible and having high stability. SOLUTION: The O/W-type emulsion composition for topical application contains an oil phase dispersed in a water phase, and contains at least one oleophilic emulsifier and at least one amphiphilic polymer derived from a 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid unit and a hydrophobic monomer containing an oxyalkylene chain.
