CONTENT ACQUISITION METHOD

It is possible to drastically improve the processing efficiency of the acquisition processing. According to a content data request, it is judged whether the content data is stored on the hard disc. When the content data is not stored, the content data is acquired from a content providing server (6) and after this, a content attribute file (47) is acquired from an attribute information providing server (7). When the content data is stored on the hard disc, the content attribute file (47) is acquired from the attribute information providing server (7) without requesting the content data. Thus, it is possible to eliminate duplicate acquisition of content data, thereby significantly reducing the acquisition processing time. This can drastically improve the processing efficiency of the acquisition processing.
