<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an initialization method for an Internet video image telephone terminal capable of simply performing initialization required for user's environment. <P>SOLUTION: The initialization method for an Internet video image telephone terminal according to the invention performs initialization for the Internet video image telephone terminal, using a terminal initialization file (Initial Configuration File) equipped with a specific data format in particular.
