<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that is highly operable for an operator who is slightly handicapped. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device A includes an automatic document feeder 30 for feeding a document (d), an image reader 60 for reading an image of the document (d) fed by the automatic document feeder 30, an image carrier 1 on which an electrostatic latent image is formed in accordance with the image read by the image reader 60, a developing device 4 for forming a toner image by using a toner to develop the electrostatic latent image formed on the image carrier, a transfer device 7 for transferring the toner image on a recording paper, a fixing device 24 for fixing the toner image transferred on the recording paper, and an operating part 41 for performing an instruction and setting relating to image formation processing performed by said devices, wherein a console 43 for an operator to place his hands thereon is mounted on the operating part 41 so as to be slidable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
