<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tamper resistant microprocessor with a multiprocessor configuration, keeping a secret of data on a processing target or an execution code of a program itself, and preventing a fraudulent alteration. <P>SOLUTION: In this tamper resistant microprocessor with the multiprocessor configuration, a microprocessor package has a cipher processing function capable of using a plurality of cryptographic keys correspondingly to the program under multitask program execution environment to have a cipher processing function capable of using the plurality of cryptographic keys correspondingly to the program, and has a plurality of instruction execution cores on the same package. In the tamper resistant microprocessor, by concentrating key tables storing the cryptographic keys and cipher processing function parts upon one position on the package, improvement of processing performance in hardware of the same scale can be accomplished as compared with the case that the key tables and the cipher processing function parts are distributedly provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
