<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer apparatus for care to be used for multiple purposes such as transfer to a bed or movement, including bathing assist. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises: a battery-driven system movement vehicle; a post member arranged by erection in the front part of the movement vehicle; an extending/contracting body which is attached to the front part of the post member and is freely extending/contracting in a front and rear direction; and a chair for care attached to the front part of the extending/contracting body.
