<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a color filter only by forming, exposing, developing and coloring one layer of a photosensitive resin layer on a substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the color filter includes a step to form a positive type photosensitive resin layer on the substrate (a), a step to form a latent image by selectively exposing the photosensitive resin layer corresponding to a specified coloring pattern (b), a step to make the coloring pattern apparent by bringing the photosensitive resin layer into contact with a coloring solution (c) and a step to form a coloring pattern in a plurality of colors by repeating steps (b) and (c) as required (d). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
