<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflective substrate which is given light directivity to a desired angle and can suppress generation of interference fringes and a liquid crystal display panel using the reflective substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel has liquid crystal sandwiched between a couple of substrates, one of which is a substrate having a resin film, having recessed parts or projection parts 14 in a shape having two orthogonal long and short axes in a pixel, and a reflecting film on the resin film, the recessed parts or projection parts are being arranged so that center points of the recessed parts or projection parts are arranged at lattice points (30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, and 42) of a hexagonal close-packed lattice and at least one of center axes (44, 46) as lines connecting six lattice points adjacent to an arbitrary lattice point is nearly parallel to the long-axis direction of the recessed parts or projection parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
