SOLUTION: The recording medium is provided with a pre-mastered area and a rewritable area, and a portion of the pre-mastered area includes a area on which pointer information is to be recorded, the pointer information relating to the position of a read-in area which includes the index of items recorded by the user in the rewritable area.
