PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide whether or not it is necessary to completely update a receiver. SOLUTION: The method manages a service list in a receiver level of a content transmitting system having two or more different data streams, and relates to a method which is characterized in having a step to check whether or not a new service is included in the service list of other streams when the new service is detected in a given stream.
