PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize an organic electroluminescent element having high luminescent efficiency, and excellent drive durability. SOLUTION: In this organic electroluminescent element having a pair of electrodes 2, 8, a luminescent layer 5, a hole injection layer 3, and a hole transport layer 4 are provided between the pair of electrodes, the hole injection layer 3 or the hole transport layer 4 is made of a mixture of two or more kinds of organic materials, and at least one of the organic materials is an oligomer material.
