PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling/filtering device of engine lubricating oil for contributing to an improvement in operability of operation, by miniaturizing a civil engineering construction machine, by reducing a turning radius of the civil engineering construction machine mounted with an engine, by restraining an increase in the lateral outermost dimension of the engine, by positioning the cooling filter on the inside of the lateral outermost part of engine parts. SOLUTION: This cooling/filtering device 4 of the engine lubricating oil is installed in the vicinity of an oil pan 3 of a front wall 2a in a cylinder block 2 of the engine 1, in a state of horizontally extending in the width direction W of the engine 1, when viewed in the parallel direction to the axis C of a crankshaft 5 of the engine 1. An oil filter 6 and an oil cooler 7 are arranged so as to be positioned on the inside of the lateral outermost part of the engine parts 10, 11, 12 and 13, with the width direction W of the engine 1 as the lateral direction.
