PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform a phase adjustment of a thread take-up curve formed of a thread take-up amount by a disk-shaped rotating thread take-up lever without changing the thread take-up amount and to simplify the constitution of the thread take-up lever device using the rotating thread take-up lever. SOLUTION: The thread take-up lever device 20 for a double chain stitcher is provided with a sewing machine main shaft 5; the disk-shaped rotating thread take-up lever 21 having a thread take-up amount adjusting cam 21a in its outer circumferential part and externally fixed around the sewing machine main shaft 5 relatively unrotatably; a thread guide member 23 rotatably pivoted to the sewing machine main shaft 5, formed with thread guide holes 23c and 23d in positions separated from the sewing machine main shaft 5 by a predetermined distance, and engagingly guiding a needle thread 18 supplied from a bobbin to a thread take-up amount adjusting cam 21a of the rotating thread take-up lever 21 by the thread guide holes 23c and 23d; and a phase adjusting mechanism 25 circumferentially adjusting the phase of the thread guide holes 23c and 23d by turning the thread guide member 23 around the sewing machine main shaft 5.
