Each of the brick-shaped jaws (5) is provided with differently designed sides with elevations (7) and depressions in order to be used for holding items with various outer contours. The vice is fitted with one stationary (1) and one movable element (2) each equipped with a bow-shaped holding element (3) keeping the jaw (5) between their outer segments. The jaws (5) are joined to the holding elements (3) with transversally inserted bolts serving as rotation axles in order to facilitate the use of the jaw surface matching the surfaces of the particular work-piece.
