A gas generator system for a two chamber includes a T-shaped connector (10) with gas jets (13, 14) pointing in opposing directions. The smaller chamber has its jet fitted with a flow restricting cap to match the gas flow with the relative apertures of the jets. In the event of a fire the flow restricting cap is destroyed and both jets provide equal and opposing gas flows, ensuring that the airbag and its fittings remain in situ. The flow restricting cap can be secured to the jet by a screw fitting, or is just pushed onto the jet, facilitated by a slit in the skirt of the cap.
