Heading G2A A photographic camera has a member (35) slidable between a first position Fig. 1 (not shown) in which it closes the exposure aperture and protects the optical system 21, and a second position in which the aperture is uncovered and the member forms a handle for the camera, movement of the member from first to second position also moving a shutter release mechanism actuating trigger 59 from an inoperative to an operative position as shown, part of the trigger being housed in a recess in the member (35) when in its operative position. The member (35) may also be arranged to cover the view finder lens system when in its first position. Depression of the trigger also causes an electric motor to advance the film.</p> |
