<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare image processing environment improving transfer efficiency of image data wherein image characteristic information has a constant value to process the image data. <P>SOLUTION: A header generation part 405 analyzes a characteristic of the inputted image data, and generates the image characteristic information of a pixel unit. When generating packet data from each block image data, header information about each the block image data, and the image characteristic information, a tile data control part 406 decides whether the image characteristic information of each the pixel has the constant value or not, in packet units, and adjusts a packet data amount when deciding that the image characteristic information has the constant value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
