<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible electric connector transmitting a signal from a transmission line on a first surface to a transmission line on a surface at the opposite side while avoiding the degradation of signal consistency. <P>SOLUTION: A flexible circuit 300 having vias 455 disposed to minimize discontinuity in a ground plane 306 separating opposing transmission lines is provided with: electrical connection pads 456 of first types which are disposed on the first surface of the flexible circuit 300 and electrically coupled to a first transmission line 304; and electrical connection pads 314 of second types which are disposed on the second surface of the flexible circuit 300 and electrically coupled to a second transmission line 302. The electrical connection pads 314 of second types have higher surface density than electrical connection pads 456 of the first types. The vias 455 are disposed near the electrical connection pads 456 of the first types. The ground plane 306 is penetrated so as to minimize discontinuity in the ground plane 306, thereby the first transmission line 304 is electrically connected with the second transmission line 302. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
