<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game apparatus which controls at least the movement of an own character and an enemy character within a virtual area displayed on an image display device according to the instructions read out of the memory means. <P>SOLUTION: The game apparatus is so set that the own character has the prescribed number of hit points as preset and the prescribed number of guard points as preset at the initial state. When the player executes the guard operation against the effective attack from the enemy character, in the case of the guard points being left, when the guard operation is carried out at the given timing, the guard points alone are reduced by the prescribed number or in the case of the guard points being left, when the the guard operation is carried out outside the prescribed timing, both the guard points and the hit points are reduced by the specified number, respectively. In the case of no guard point being left, the hit points are reduced by the prescribed number irrespective of execution of the guard operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
