PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid chromatographic device that is improved in processing efficiency. SOLUTION: The liquid chromatograph comprises a first analytical column for separating component in a sample carried by a first mobile phase, a first detector for detecting the component, a fractionating passage for holding the component separated by the first analytical column in dispensing parts by fractionation, a trapping passage with a plurality of trap columns for feeding the components held in the dispensing parts to the trap columns where the component is captured and condensed, a tapping passage for tapping the component captured/condensed in the trap columns and then eluted from the trap columns by a second mobile phase, and a passage selection mechanism for simultaneously conducting a capture/condensation operation of capturing and condensing the component in either trap column on the trapping passage and an elution operation of eluting the captured component from the other trap column.
