PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clock movement which prevents components from falling at transportation, by eliminating the use of components to be fixed with screws or the like, and the use of components other than the clock movement. SOLUTION: The clock movement comprises an hour wheel 1, a center wheel and pinion 4 exposed out of the hour wheel 1, and hour wheel falling preventing means 7 for the hour wheel 1. After the hour wheel 1 is installed in the outer circumference of the shaft of the center wheel and pinion 4, the hour wheel falling preventing means 7 is made to engage with a groove section 4a of the shaft of the center wheel and pinion 4 exposed out of the hour wheel 1. The clock movement comprises a dial washer 2, the hour wheel 1, and dial washer falling preventing means 8. After the dial washer 2 is installed in the cylindrical outer circumference of the hour wheel 1, the dial washer falling preventing means 8 is made to engage with an engagement section 1a on the cylindrical the outer circumference of the hour wheel 1, which does not overlap the dial washer 2.
