JOINING METHOD, JOINING BODY FOR UNIT PARTS FOR MEDICAL INSTRUMENT AND ENDOSCOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining method for joining stainless steel unit parts of a medical instrument with high precision and joining strength, a joining body for the unit parts for the medical instrument joined by this method and an endoscope with excellent durability equipped with the joining body for the unit parts for the medical instrument. SOLUTION: The joining method is composed of joining the unit parts (a cylinder main body 2 and a pipe joint 3) for the medical instrument made of stainless steel with a joining material containing 62.5 wt.% or over of Au and comprises the 1st step of heating the two unit parts to be joined in a hydrogen containing atmosphere or in vacuum at 1,050-1,200°C, the 2nd step of closely placing the one unit part to the other unit part to make a gap 6, and the 3rd step of supplying a joining material 5 under a molten state into the gap 6 to stick together the unit parts.
