PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new bisaminophenol useful as a raw material of condensed polymers having high heat resistance. SOLUTION: The bisaminophenol derivative has an ethynyl group. Furthermore, the above bisaminophnol has any of the structure represented by formula (1) (wherein Ar is a benzene ring or a naphthalene ring; X<SB>1</SB>is a phenylethynyl group, a naphthylethynyl group, an anthrylethynyl group, a phenanthrylethynyl group, a quinolylethynyl group, a quinoxalylethynyl group, an ethynyl group, an alkylethynyl group or a propargyl ether group; Y is -O-, -SO<SB>2</SB>-, -CH<SB>2</SB>-, -C(CH<SB>3</SB>)<SB>2</SB>-, -C(CF<SB>3</SB>)<SB>2</SB>- or a divalent aromatic group; the amino group and the hydroxy group on the benzene ring or the naphthalene ring in the above Ar are disposed adjacent to each other; p and q are integers in the range of 0-3 and p+q≥=1; and k is 0 or 1).
