PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper alloy provided with high strength and excellent bending workability. SOLUTION: The copper alloy comprises, by mass, 1.0 to 8.0% Ni and 0.1 to 2.0% Si. At the time when only the matrix of the copper alloy is dissolved, and oxides, crystallized products and precipitated products are subjected to extractive separation with a mesh having openings of 0.1μm, the content of Ni in the extraction residue subjected to the extractive separation is≤80% of the amount of Ni to be added. As the alloy components, further, 0.05 to 5.0% Zn and 0.01 to 5.0% Sn may be added independently or combinedly in addition to the above Ni and Si. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
