GUIDABLE FOG LIGHTS

The invention relates to guidable fog lights actuated by an electromechanical system with the purpose of improving road lighting in curves. The system is started by means of a switch in the dashboard. A turn switch activates a pair of solenoids situated in the front fender. The solenoids move a toothed rack to the left or right depending on the direction of the curve detected by the turn switch thereby turning the fog lights in order to better light the curve as a result of the two pinions that are connected to the toothed rack. Once the solenoids have stopped working, an elastic band returns the toothed rack to its central position. A cover guides the toothed rack and the pinions thereby preventing dust and humidity from penetrating into the system. Additionally, a second switch is provided in the dashboard in order to activate a laser diode in the rear of the vehicle, said laser diode being lighted together with the brake lights with the purpose of improving visibility during foggy conditions.
