Provided is a mask for painting, which produces a painted surface with high smoothness by eliminating a vertical level difference generated at a boundary zone of coating layers, and prevents interlayer separation between a topcoat layer and a painted surface. The mask for painting comprises: a barrier plate(100); and a member(120) having a level difference and formed at a lateral side or bottom side of the boundary zone of the barrier plate. Particularly, the member(120) having a level difference is any one selected from the group consisting of plates, lines and dots with a thickness of 0.1-100 mm, and is formed by cutting or polishing the boundary zone of the barrier plate(100).
