<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for assembling a solid oxide fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell stack assembly includes a first and a second fuel cells electrically coupled with each other so that a sealed channel is extended between the first fuel cell and the second fuel cell. Each of the fuel cells includes at least one hollow manifold containing a wall extended between a first end part and a second end part. Each wall sets a chamber inside, and contains an opening part extended through and hydraulically communicated with the chamber. Further, the fuel cell stack assembly includes a fuel cell insulating device coupled in fluid communication with the hollow manifold of each fuel cell. One fuel cell stack assembly is to be enabled to be positioned in free changing so as to selectively stop fluid flow in one of the fuel cells during operation of the fuel cell stack assembly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
