<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently regenerate a catalyst by separating catalyst particles from particles substantially inactive in a reaction and optionally separating the catalyst particles into groups of different kinds. <P>SOLUTION: A solid catalyst ingredient deteriorated in the reaction is regenerated via a discharge step of discharging a catalyst-containing ingredient containing the solid catalyst ingredient from a fixed-bed reactor. When the solid catalyst ingredient comprises two or more components of different shapes, the solid catalyst ingredient is regenerated after conducting the discharge step then a catalyst component separation step of separating the solid catalyst components from each other. When the catalyst-containing ingredient contains an inactive ingredient, the solid catalyst ingredient is regenerated after conducting the discharge step then an inactive ingredient separation step of separating the inactive ingredient. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
