<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating glass from laminated glass, by which the glass is recovered from the laminated glass in a form that can be returned to a float furnace while a film can be effectively used. <P>SOLUTION: In the circulation transfer process in a heating chamber 2 of a glass separation device 120, since the broken laminated glass undergoes shearing force by stirring with a paddle 6, the glass of the broken piece of the laminated glass gradually slides from the film and the film is exposed in the heating chamber 2. The exposed film evaporates without igniting since the film is heated in the heating chamber 2 heated at a temperature similar to or higher than the film evaporation temperature in the approximate absence of oxygen. Furthermore, the temperature of the heating chamber 2 is controlled to be below the glass softening point and the glass remains without softening.
