<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a duplex management network device capable of surely transmitting information when an information module is switched. <P>SOLUTION: Data to be set in a line card 2 are notified from an operating management module 1 to a stand-by management module 1 and the data are set from the stand-by management module 1 to the line card 2, and the stand-by management module 1 is notified of the completion of the setting from the line card 2 .
